My story
Hi, I'm Jeni,
I founded Nomad Fundraising in 2024, offering freelance fundraising support and consultancy to small charities with big ambitions!
I work with small and medium-sized charities and non-profit organisations focusing on bid writing and trust fundraising, and generalist fundraising consultancy .

I specialise in health and medical research, learning disability, education, and homelessness charities. Charities I've worked with include Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, North West Air Ambulance Charity, Local Mencap, The Girls' Network, The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity and LandAid.
I've been working as a fundraiser since 2014. Previously I taught English as a Foreign Language in Europe, Asia, and South America, and I also spent 5 years working as a recruitment consultant, with more than half that time spent at the third sector agency Charity People.
I'm passionate about smaller charities and have enormous respect for the incredible impact that a small group of dedicated people can make. I also understand the multitude of challenges they face. That's why I've chosen to go freelance - I know that I can make a difference in a short amount of time.
I also want to give myself the freedom to travel slowly and work from anywhere - I've lived in lots of different places, and it would be nice to be able to spend time in some of my many homes, knowing I can do my work just as well from Spain or Italy as I can from Liverpool or London. The ultimate dream is to buy a camper van, and be a full-time fundraising nomad!
When I'm not travelling, you'll find me looking for adventures in nature with my dog, and seeking inspiration in bookshops, the theatre, and Everton Football Club.
